  • Day 2 : Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Chautara (1,200m)

    Duration: 6-7 Hours

Our journey begins with a scenic drive along the Araniko Highway to Chautara, the district headquarters of Sindhupalchok. This peaceful hill town offers beautiful views of lush forests, terraced farmland, and surrounding hills.

After reaching Chautara, we settle into our campsite and enjoy the peaceful rural atmosphere for the night.

  • Day 3 : Day 3: Trek from Chautara to Phusre (2,045m)

    Duration: 5-6 Hours

Today, we begin our trek by walking through valleys, terraced farmlands, and traditional villages inhabited by various ethnic communities. The peaceful coexistence of different local groups offers a wonderful cultural experience.

We gradually ascend, crossing small streams and enjoying beautiful hillside scenery before reaching Phusre, where we stay overnight at camp.

  • Day 4 : Day 4: Trek from Phusre to Kami Kharka (2,845m)

    Duration: 6-7 Hours

We begin with an uphill climb to Thulo Okhareni, followed by a steady ascent through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests. This area is rich in birdlife and wildlife, especially the colorful Danphe (Himalayan Monal), Nepal’s national bird.

As the trail becomes gentler, we enter open summer pasturelands and arrive at Kami Kharka, where we camp overnight.

  • Day 5 : Day 5: Trek from Kami Kharka to Pauwa Bas (3,000m)

    Duration: 5-6 Hours

Today’s trek is relatively easier and passes through peaceful forests filled with juniper, oak, pine, and rhododendron trees. Along the way, we may see temporary shelters used by nomadic cattle herders.

We continue through this serene landscape until we reach Pauwa Bas, where we stay overnight in a tented camp.

  • Day 6 : Day 6: Trek from Pauwa Bas to Hile Bhanjyang (3,400m)

    Duration: 5-6 Hours

Today involves a more demanding climb as we ascend for around three hours to reach the top of a hill. From here, we enjoy mesmerizing views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and valleys.

Afterward, we descend steeply for about one and a half hours before reaching Hile Bhanjyang, where we stay overnight in a lodge.

  • Day 7 : Day 7: Trek from Hile Bhanjyang to Nasim Pati (3,700m)

    Duration: 5-6 Hours

The day starts with a steep climb of about one hour. Once at the top, you are rewarded with magnificent panoramic views stretching across the mountain ranges.

The trail then descends through rhododendron forests and rocky landscapes before reaching Nasim Pati, a traditional resting place for pilgrims on their way to Panch Pokhari. Overnight stay will be in a tent.

  • Day 8 : Day 8: Trek from Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari (Five Sacred Lakes) (4,100m)

Today is one of the most special days of the trek as we make our way to the holy Panch Pokhari. The trail climbs steadily over rocky hillsides and alpine terrain.

Panch Pokhari, meaning “Five Sacred Lakes,” is an important pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhists. Pilgrims from Nepal and India visit this holy site during religious festivals such as Janai Purnima.

After reaching the lakes, we have time to explore the sacred surroundings and reflect on the spiritual significance of this beautiful place. Overnight stay will be in a tent.

  • Day 9 : Day 9: Trek from Panch Pokhari to Nasim Pati (3,700m)

    Duration: 6-7 Hours

  • Day 10 : Day 10: Trek from Nasim Pati to Dukang (2,100m)

    Duration: 5-6 Hours

  • Day 12 : Day 12: Trek from Dhap to Melamchi Pul Bazaar and Drive to Kathmandu

    Duration: 6-7 Hours
